What it costs
Free for 30 days, starting the day your number goes live — not the day you sign up, because a trial that runs out while you are waiting on carrier registration is not a trial. After that it is one dollar for each day Cael is switched on, billed once a month. Days you pause it are not billed, and the invoice lists them so you can see it.

How you switch it on

- Your real numberUS carriers require every business that texts to be registered first. We file that for you and tell you the moment it clears. Your free month starts then — not before — and the sandbox keeps working while you wait.
- No number changeYou keep the line you advertise and forward it to Cael when nobody answers. We send the exact steps for your carrier, and activation is not marked done until one test call proves it works.
What it will not do
- Never cold-texts
- Cael only replies to people who called you. It cannot message a list, and it cannot contact someone who never rang your number.
- STOP is final
- A customer who replies STOP is blocked in the database, so a further message cannot be created even by mistake.
- Never quotes a price
- Pricing questions go to you. Cael is not allowed to invent a number on your behalf.
- Emergencies go to a human
- "I smell gas" is caught before the AI answers: the caller is told to hang up and dial 911, and you are alerted immediately.
- Says it is software
- Cael does not claim to be a person. If someone asks for one, it hands the conversation over and tells you.
- Respects quiet hours
- Late-night calls are held until the morning rather than texted at two in the morning.
The questions I actually get asked
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You keep the number you advertise and set it to forward to Cael when nobody answers. Nothing changes about how customers reach you.
Will this replace the person who answers my phone?
No, and if that is the goal you want a different product. Cael handles the calls that person physically cannot get to — the second caller while they are on the first, and everything after closing.
What happens when it gets something wrong?
It hands the conversation to a human and says so. Anything ambiguous hits that stop rather than guessing, and you can read every message it sent.
Why is it a dollar a day and not a monthly plan?
Because a slow month should cost less than a busy one. You are charged for the days Cael was switched on, which you control, and billed once a month so you get one line on your statement instead of thirty.
Is it available in Costa Rica?
Not yet. Cael runs on United States carrier registration, so today it works for US businesses only. Costa Rica needs its own registration before we can promise it works, and we would rather say that than sell you a number that never arrives.
